MANUFACTURE OF ELECTRIC INSULATING COIL

PURPOSE:To obtain the highly insulated coil by binding a mixture including mica and pulp state particles of aromatic polyamide to a lining base material by using silicone resin binding material, winding the tape obtained in this way on an electric conductor, then impregnating resin comprising a multifunctional epoxy compound and an isocyanate compound. CONSTITUTION:The insulating tape 2 comprising glass woven cloth wherein the mixture including mica and the pulp state particles of aromatic polyamide, unwoven cloth of aromatic polyamide, and aromatic polyamide film are wound in layers on the surface of the preliminarily formed electric conductor 1. In combining the tape 2 to the mixture, a silicone resin series binding agent which occupies 5-15wt% of the tape 2 is used. Thereafter, the thermosetting resin component whose indispensable components are the multifunctional epoxy compound and the multifunctional isocyanate compound is impregnated in the tape 2 and cured, and the surface is covered by outer glass woven cloth 3.
