FLAT TYPE CATHODE RAY TUBE

PURPOSE:To improve the electrical contact with a deflecting plate even if the plate is made of ferrite, by providing conductive springs between an electrostatic deflecting plate which forms the second deflecting system and the inside wall of the flat tube body to lead a terminal. CONSTITUTION:A flat type cathode ray tube is provided with a neck 1c in which an electron gun 4 is contained continuing to a flat space 10 of a flat tube body 1 on which f fluorescent screen 2 and back electrode 3 are provided, and is provided with the second deflecting system comprising a magnetic core 7, electromagnetic coil 8, and an electrostatic deflecting plate 9 which is made of ferrite and provided in the inside of the tube in the bottom of its funnel 1b. S- shaped conductive springs 141, 142 are provided and fritted with glass when the deflecting plate 9 is fixed on the prescribed position of the funnel 1b. Thus by leading a terminal from the springs 141, 142, the electrical contact with ferrite can be improved and eased.
