Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To obtain a polyurethane material excellent in strength, rubber elasticity, etc., by reacting a polyisocyanate with a polyhydroxyl component containing a specified polyhydroxyl compound. CONSTITUTION:A polyhydroxyl compound is produced by graft-polymerizing a half ester between a polyether-polyol and an unsaturated dibasic acid anhydride, e.g., maleic anhydride, with a radical-polymerizable vinyl monomer, e.g., ethylen. Next, the polyurethane material of the purpose is obtained by reacting a polyisocyanate with a polyhydroxyl component having the above polyhydroxyl compound as at least part of the component. As the above polyether-polyol there can be preferably used a compound of the formula, wherein A is a residue of an active hydrogen-containing compound, R1 is an alkylene, n1 is a polymerization degree of oxyalkylene and f1 is the functionality of A.
