Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To directly form a positive image by fogging the silver halide of a heat development type recording material using org. silver salt. CONSTITUTION:A recording material contg. silver halide (a), org. silver salt (b) as an oxidizing agent and a reducing agent (c) as principal components is fogged beforehand. The silver halide (a) forms a latent image by exposure. Since it has been fogged, silver atoms exist on the crystal surface. When the silver halide is exposed, silver atoms corresponding to the quantity of exposure disappear (fog is destructed), and a ground is formed. The org. silver salt (b) is selectively reduced at the latent image part during heating to form an image, and it includes silver behenate or silver arachidate. Monohydroxybenzene, dihydroxybiphenyl, naphthol or the like is used as the reducing agent (c). The fogging is conducted by uniform exposure or with a chemical fogging agent. A desensitizing dye and an electron trapping agent such as gold or sulfur may be used. |
