METHOD FOR SHAPING FIXED PART AT OUTER END OF HAIRSPRING OF WATCH PROVIDED WITH MECHANICAL BALANCE WITH HAIRSPRING

PURPOSE:To improve productivity of hair springs and to improve and stabilize their quality manufactured by shaping, by mechanizing shaping of hair springs. CONSTITUTION:After a hairspring 1 with an balance wheel 2 is set in such a way that the hairspring 1 locks downward, balance wheel rotating-driving pulleys 4 and 5 approach the balance wheel 2 and contact with it, and rotate the balance wheel 2 in the direction which is opposite to the spirally wound up direction of the hairspring 1. In this case, the hairspring 1 fixed to the balance wheel 2 also rotates, and its outer end comes over a sharpened edge of a hairspring outer end guiding projection 7 which guides the outer end of the hairspring to a shaping tool, and then, reaches a face 12 of a stopper-detecter 10. When the outer end reaches the face 12, an electric current flows between them and a detect signal is obtained. Then, a fixing tool 18 starts to work by means of a air pressure cylinder 19, and then, the 1st shaping tool 8 of an outer end fixing section and a shaping tool 13 perform the 1st shaping. Thereafter, the 2nd shaping tools 9 and 14 also start to work, and the spiral curve of the hairspring 1 is bent outwart to become prescribed shapes.
