Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To provide a heat-sensitive recording material useful for a facsimile recording sheet, enabling the control of heat sensitivity and color tone, by coating a dipersion containing colarant and a color developer containing urea derivatives and urethane derivatives on a substrate. CONSTITUTION:A dispersion of an electron-donating colorless dye (e.g.: Crystal violet lactone) in an aqueous solution of PVA or the like is mixed with a dispersion of a crystalline product obtained by solidifying a molten mixture of a urea derivative having at least 7 carbon atoms of formulaI, wherein R -R are H, alkyl, aryl, etc. (e.g.: 1-phenylurea) and/or a urethane derivative of formulae II-IV, wherein R , R are alkyl or aryl; R is alkylene, arylene, etc.; R is alkylene or oxyalkylene (e.g.: phenylcarbomoyloxydodecane) and electron- accepting organic compound[e.g.: 1,1-bis(p-hydroxyphenyl)propane], and the mixture is coated and dried on a substrate.
