PRINTING INK COMPOSITION

PURPOSE:The titled composition, containing a coloring agent dissolved or dispersed in water and a lower alkylene oxide adduct of a specific benzenesulfonamide derivative as an additive, capable of improving the solubility of the coloring agent, and having improved storage stability and jetting stability. CONSTITUTION:A composition containing a coloring agent dissolved or dispersed in water and 1-1,000pts.wt., based on 100pts.wt. coloring agent, adduct of 1- 50mol lower alkylene oxide with a benzenesulfonamide derivative expressed by formulaI(R1 and R2 are H, halogen, lower alkyl, lower alkoxyl, etc.; R3 is H, lower alkyl, lower alkoxyl, cycloalkyl, aryl or aralkyl). The preferred adduct is an adduct of 1-30mol ethylene oxide and/or propylene oxide with a benzenesulfonamide derivative expressed by formula II (R11 and R21 are H, halogen or lower alkyl; R31 is H, lower alkyl or phenyl).
