RELEASING DEVICE FOR SHEET RESISTRATION MECHANISM

PURPOSE:To prevent a sheet from becoming dirty by dividing into two a sheet carriage guide which forms a passage extending from a couple of register means for position timing between the front edge of a carried sheet and a projection image of an original to the circumference of a photoreceptor. CONSTITUTION:Sheets 2 to be carried synchronizing with an image on a photosensitive drum 1 are stacked on an intermediate plate 4 in a cassette 3 at the lower part of a machine and the height of the sheets 2 is held constant by a sheet separation pawl 6. The sheets 2 are fed out, one by one, from the position by a pickup roller 7 and guided by fixed guide plates 8 and 9 and a movable guide plate 10 to readh register rollers 111 and 112. The sheets 2 are further guided by guide plates 12, 13, 131, and 132 to reach the photosensitive drum 1, and the tip part 132 of the guide plate uses an insulator. Consequently, dirtying with toner, etc., due to the influence of static electricity is prevented effectively.
