MEASURING APPARATUS OF MOISTURE CONTENT

PURPOSE:To measure a moisture content accurately, by sweeping the raw material stuck to a detection part of the moisture content which is inserted into the raw material, with brush. CONSTITUTION:At the time of advancing a moisture content detection part 4 along a guide 10 by operating a fluid cylinder 6 and inserting into a raw material 9 from an insertion hole 8 of the side wall of a measuring part 5, each electrode 13 of the part 4 penetrates through each small hole of a sweep board 14, and the front surface of the part 4 engages with the back surface of the board 14. At this time, a brush is provided on the inner circumference of each small hole of the board 14 and the material 9 stuck to the electrode is swept when each electrode 13 penetrate through the small hole. The part 4 advances and enters in the hole 8 of the part 5 and the moisture content of the material 9 is measured. After finishing said measurement, the cylinder 6 is operated again and the part 4 is drawn out from the material and is brought back to the original position. Each electrode 13 of the part 4 is swept again by the brush provided on the inner circumference of the small hole of the board 14 in this restoring process and it is prepared for the next measurement.
