Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To prevent the dyeing by hot water of member surfaces surely by coating alkali silicate on the surfaces of an Al material and neutralizing the same with an acid after drying thereby forming a protecting film thereon. CONSTITUTION:An aq. soln. of alkali silicate such as sodium silicate (SiO2/ Na2O=8) is coated on the surfaces of an Al material, and is dried by heating to 200-300 deg.C without rinsing. Thence, it is neutralized by using a sulfuric acid or the like, and the alkaline components remained on the surfaces of the Al material are removed, following to which the material is rinsed and redried. By this operation, a protecting film is formed easily on the surfaces of the Al material. The discoloration against steam and hot water is surely prevented by this film. Since in this method harmless alkali silicate is used as an essential material, this method is safe in sanitation. This method is applicable to Al cans and the like to be subjected to sterilization. |
