COLOR DEVELOPING SHEET FOR USE IN PRESSURE-SENSITIVE REPRODUCTION

PURPOSE:To offer the titled low-cost color development sheet having high qualities from various aspects, e.g. a high color developing property, by arranging a color developer containing an aromatic carboxylic acid or its salt with a polyvalent metal, clay and wax on a support. CONSTITUTION:Dispersion liquid is obtained by adding and mixing (A) an aromatic carboxylic acid (e.g. 3,5-ditartiary butylsalicylic acid) or its salt with a polyvalent metal (e.g. magnesium), (B) clay (e.g. active white clay) and (C) wax (e.g. carnauba wax) in a solid or semisolid state at an ordinary temperature in a manner such that the weight ratio of the component (A) to the component (B) is in the range of 0.1:100 to 50:100 while 3-15 parts of the component (C) is preferably added per 100pts.wt. of the component (B), and then adding and mixing other additives such as zinc oxide. Thereafter, a binder is added to the dispersion liquid, to obtain a coloring paint. The coloring paint is applied to paper or the like. Thus, an objective development sheet is obtained.
