CARGO WORK EQUIPMENT

PURPOSE:To eliminate the downtime of cargo work equipment for loading/unloading a pallet, by installing a cargo holder on a vertically moving frame and reciprocating the cargo holder over between a waiting section and a working position. CONSTITUTION:To load beer bottle cases C, an empty pallet P sent from a waiting conveyor 29 to a working conveyor 30 is slightly elevated by a vertically moving table 34. A clamper 40 is moved down to a clamping position over a case true-up conveyor 14. When a layer of cases C are positioned, they are clamped and conveyed to a position over the pallet P. The cases C are then put in a proper position and moved down to a prescribed position by a vertically moving frame 39 and loaded on the pallet P. After that, the vertically moving table 34 is moved down, the pallet P is put on the working conveyor 30 and the clamper 40 is moved up to a position over the true-up conveyor 14. Such steps are repeated for loading.
