Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To detect accurate oil level lowers after the engine has been started, by a method of detecting oil level upon turning on the ignition switch to make appropriate indication if the oil level is found to be a predetermined value or less. CONSTITUTION:As long as proper oil level is maintained, a sensor S is turned off so that an indicator lamp L cannot be lighted because transistors Q1-Q4 are inactive respectively even when the ignition switch IG is turned on. The indicator lamp L remains unlighted, even if the sensor S is turned on as a result of reduction in the oil level caused by circulation of oil out of the oil reservoir 7 after the engine has been started, because the transistor Q1 remains in an off- status due to a voltage existing at a terminal CHG of a regulator circuit. While oil level is lowered, the sensor S causes a reed switch 2 to be closed by magnetic force of heat sensing ferrite 8, and after the ignition switch IG is turned on, the transistor Q1 through Q4 are all activated, therefore the indicator lamp L is lighted and is kept lighted after the engine is started. |
