FERMENTING TANK

PURPOSE:To crush the scum on the surface of fermenting liquid without using other energy and improve the efficiency of fermenation by providing devices of capturing once the gases formed by fermentation in the fermenting liquid and changing the fine forth formed in the liquid to large froth. CONSTITUTION:Plural pieces of semispherical devices 2 are disposed in a methane fermenting vessel 1 by facing their opening parts downward, and are fixed to the bottom surface 4 of the vessel 1 by means of arms 3. Fermenting liquid 5 is so fed in the vessel that its liquid level comes above the devices 2. When fermentation initiates, gaseous methane 7 is produced in a large amt. in the form of fine froth, and are caputured in the devices 2 facing downward. When the amt. thereof exceeds the capacities of the devices 2, they overflow from the opening parts and ascend as fairly large froth 8 which arrives at the crum layer 6 on the surface of the liquid 5, thereby crushing the scum of the layer 6 and agitating the surface of the liquid 5. Thereby, methane fermentation is accomplished effectively.
