CLEANING DEVICE FOR PICTURE FORMING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To remove and collect toner satisfactorily from the surface of a photoreceptor and a magnet brush by forming a toner collecting member of an optical semiconductor and providing a destaticizing lamp opposite to the collecting member. CONSTITUTION:A toner collecting member 6 is formed of an optical semiconductor and high bias of reverse polarity to the toner is applied to it to keep toner concentration in the magnet brush 3 always at a low value and to collect the toner in the magnet brush 3 efficiently. Further, a destaticizing lamp 7 is attached to it as a destaticizing device relating to the optical semiconductor. Lowering of bias effect due to charging of toner charge is prevented by making leak charge of the same polarity with the toner by light irradiation of the destaticizing lamp 7. Thus, the toner can be removed and collected satisfactorily.
