INPUT DEVICE OF MULTI-ITEM INFORMATION

PURPOSE:To faciliate an easy process of signals, by narrowing the space between the electrodes respectively in a specific electrode region and discriminating the scan signal which is detected at the specific region for a tablet of the electrostatic connection system. CONSTITUTION:A specific electrode region 13 having a larger area then a unit electrode region 3 is provided on a tablet for the use of the tablet or other purpose. In this case, the space between the electrode regions included in the region 13 is set equal to or smaller than the width of a detection electrode of a detection pen 20. As a result, the blind sector of the scan signal can be eliminated within the region 13. At the same time, a circuit 32 is added to discriminate the region 13 from the region 3. The output signal given from the region 13 is converted into a specific code signal through a code converting circuit 33 and then delivered. Thus the process of signals is facilitated.
