CARRYING METHOD OF MATERIAL TO BE HEATED IN HEATING FURNACE

PURPOSE:To prevent heat loss and facilitate removing of scales that accumulate on the hearth by forming a heating furnace into two, upper and lower, layers and hanging and carrying a material to be heated in the upper zone, and carrying it by a walking beam in the lower zone. CONSTITUTION:A furnace body 1 is divided into an upper chamber and a lower chamber by a double partiton wall 2. A material 6 carried in by a charging roll 7' is transferred to two hook groups A-B-A hung through the ceiling and rotatable and movable verticaly, and carried in suspension. When the material 6 arrives at the opposite side of the charging roll 7', it is put on an elevator 9 and carried to the lower heating chamber, placed on a lower walking beam 13 from an arm 11 and carried. Then, it is extracted by an extracting roll 15 from opposite end of the elevator 9. By this way, the length of the furnace can be reduced and the floor area of the building can be diminished.
