FORM WINDING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To shorten a feeding path without making the device large-scale, by providing a bar which clamps the tip of a roll paper on a drum, a means which rotates the drum after clamping, and a means which cuts the roll paper when the drum is rotated at a prescribed angle. CONSTITUTION:The tip of a recording paper 5 is inserted under a bar 2 by the operation of a paper feeding roller 4. Thus, the roller 4 stops, and the bar 2 is closed to clamp the tip of the recording paper 5, and a cam 13 starts rotating. A stop lever 9 is turned by the motion of the cam 13, and detaining of a drum stop cam 8 is released, and a sensor 14 is turned on to rotate a drum 1. In accordance with rotation of the drum 1, the recording paper 5 is wound while being brought into contact with the circumferential face of the drum closely by a squeezing roller 17. When the drum 1 is rotated furthermore up to an angle beta, the stop lever 9 detains the drum stop cam 8 in a notch part 8b. In the process of detaining, the sensor 14 is turned off to break the rotation input of the drum, and the drum 1 stops. The turn- on signal of the sensor instructs a cutter 3 to cut the recording paper.
