NONAQUEOUS-ELECTROLYTE BATTERY

PURPOSE:To render the mixing and the distribution of the components of a mixture uniform and thereby to enhance the molding property of a positive molding body, by dispersing the composition of a positive mixture in an organic solvent, then mixing, agitating and molding. CONSTITUTION:A positive mixture composition made of beta-manganese dioxide, graphite, polytetrafluoroethylene, or the like is allowed to project and disperse in an organic solvent having a low viscosity and a low boiling temperature, such as ethyl alcohol, acetone, or the like; next, the positive mixture composition is well agitated and mixed mechanically by the use of a motored-agitator or the like, then it is suction-filtered with a fine membrane-filter to remove the solvent dried in vacuum to obtain the positive mixture, which is compression-molded to obtain positive pellets. Consequently, the mixing and the distribution of the positive mixture are made to become good, the molding property of the mixture excellent, and the condition of the surface uniform, thus the damage caused by the crack of the positive pellets and the brim-break thereof or the like can be prevented.
