Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To provide the titled compsn. having excellent smoothness, low-temperature curing characteristics and resistance to discoloration, consisting of a polyester resin contg. dimethylol-propionic acid component and having a specified carboxyl value, and an N-acylpolylactam compd. or an N-acylpolyimide compd. CONSTITUTION:A resin compsn., for a powdered paint contains a polyester resin contg. 0.5-30.0wt% (based on the total amount of the resin) dimethylol-propionic acid component and having a softening point of 70-150 deg.C and a carboxyl 20-200 such as a polyester resin having a hydroxyl value of 30-100, and a compd. selected from as N-acylpolylactam compd. such as isophthaloylbis-(N-caprolactam) and an N-acryl-pilyimide compd. such as isophthaloylbis-(N-succiminide). This compsn. gives a coating film having excellent smoothness, low-temperature curing characteristics and resistance to discoloration. When an epoxy resin is blend with this compsn., the resulting compsn. gives a coating film having excellent resistance to boiling water, moisture and corrison.
