Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To enhance the intensity ratio of characteristic X-ray of an anticathode metal by forming a target part facing a part of an anticathode block into a perfect- sphere hollow. CONSTITUTION:A beam 2 emitted from a field-emission-type high intensity electron gun 1 is hit against a target point surface 11 of a perfect-sphere hollow 4 which is caved in an anti-cathode block 3 and has the diameter of 1mm. or less. Part of an X-ray beam is directed toward a hole 7 and the majority of the rest hits against an inner wall 10 of the hollow. The photons of the hit X-rays are created much more from absorption due to a phtoelectric effect than from Compton's scattering. Due to an adsorption edge effect of a target metal, a white X-ray beam is partially absorbed to emit a fluorescence of a characteristic X-ray. Further, electrons back- ward scattered from the target and Auger electrons hit again against the inner wall 10 to emit X-rays. Thus, an X-ray laser oscillator with a large intersity ratio of the characteristic X-ray can be realized. |
