FLUIDIZED BED HEATING FURNACE

PURPOSE:To reduce the production of skid marks by charging heat resistant particles into a fluidized bed heating furnace to form a fluidized bed, and heating materials to be heated uniformly. CONSTITUTION:Materials 8 to be heated are carried into the heating zone 2 of a heating furnace 7 by the operation of skid pipes 9. The heating particles of a fluidized layer 12 heated by the combustion of the gaseous fuel ejecting from diffusing pipes 1, for example, heat resistant sand, heats the materials 8 uniformly. Since the materials 8 are heated in the bed 12 interposed with the heating particles in this way, the areas near the skid pipes 9 are also heated uniformly, whereby the production of skid marks is reduced. The zone 2 is segmented by partition walls 10, 11, and a turnable moving partition plate 16 is provided to an opening 14 so that the opening opens just as much as necessary for passage of the passing materials; therefore, the effective heating is accomplished and the high temp. heating is made possible.
