HORIZONTAL VACUUM FILTER

PURPOSE:To increase a moving speed of a filter box and to treat a large amount of materials to be filtered at a vacuum filter having a considerable number of filter boxes connected endlessly, by separating a load receiving part and an air sealing, and by adopting a rolling system at said load receiving part. CONSTITUTION:Wheels 3 are attached on and beneath the supporting brackets 2 freely turnably by supporting stands 4; a filter box 1, providing the brackets 2 as its both sides, is made to travel on rails 5, 6 turning around a filter body by engaging its side projections 15 with chains 14, turning around endlessly and is driven by chain wheels 12, 13. For keeping the vacuum of a vacuum chamber A, a sealing material is stuck to either of the filter box between the adjacent two; and for the sealing between the vacuum box A and filter box 1, a sealing material 31 is attached to the upper part of the side wall 9 of the vacuum chamber A with set screws 33 by the aid of flat plate 32 so as to contact its end tip with the lower surface of the bracket 2 of the box 1; and a flexible sealing material 34 of labylinth shape is attached with set screws 35 to the side parts of outlet and inlet ports B, C of the vacuum chamber A to prevent the air penetration from outside.
