| Zusammenfassung: | An asynchronous linear motor in which a stator mounted on a vehicle, e.g. a magnetically supported vehicle, cooperates with a reaction rail along a track for propulsion of the vehicle. According to the invention, the core of the stator comprises a pocketed frame-like or grid structure of non-magnetic material in the pockets of which sheet stacks of electrical steel are received, the central compartment or pocket serving as a cooling compartment through which a liquid coolant can be circulated. The reaction rail can partly enclose the stator. |
