Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To produce high grade briquette by following method in which reducing material and residual oil generated during distilling crude oil as a binder, are arranged into iron ore-powder, thereafter the powder is formed under pressure into a predetermined shape after mixing and kneading said powder at a high specially determined temp. CONSTITUTION:8-20wt% Carbone material as a reducing agent is added into iron ore-powder crushed in a moderate particle size, and it is charged in a mixing and kneading device. Then residual oil (DR) being generated during distilling crude oil and having weight of 3-10% to the iron ore-powder is added into said powder as a binder, and is mixed and kneaded. In this case, the powder is mixed and kneaded at 100-150 deg.C higher than the softening temp. of DR. DR can be sufficiently penetrated between each particle and the surfaces of the particles are substantially coverted with DR. Thus the mixture heated and kneaded is sent to a forming machine under pressure at heating condition, and is formed in a briquette of predetermined shape.
