Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To reduce the use of dehumidifying air for preventing dewing as far as possible by continuously measuring the bottom edge temp. of steel strip coils of a coil cooling shop, and blowing rust-inhibitive air thereto only when said temp. lowers below the specific temp. difference with respect to room temp. CONSTITUTION:After annealed coils 22 are stacked on a coil base 21 in a coil cooling shop, cooling air is fed from an opening 23 to the central part of the coils, whereby the coils are cooled. After they are cooled down to prescribed temps., a damper 24 is commanded by a cylinder control valve 28 from a coil cooling controller to close the port 23, and this completes the cooling of the coils 22. The coils 22 are stored on the cooling base 21. During storage, the edge temp. of the coils 22 is continuously measured with a thermometer 27, and when it lowers =+3 deg.C. |
