Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:Fine fibrous protein is oriented and collected into sheets, heated and extended to destruct the oriented aggregation partially to form protein fiber bundles having binding parts. CONSTITUTION:Fine protein fibers of less than 0.2mm. diameter are oriented and collected into sheets and the sheets are drawn using rollers and guiding pipes under a pressure of higher than 0.1kg/cm until the length becomes more than 1.3 times the original one so that the area of the spaces in the net work becomes 0.05- 0.90cm per 1cm surface area on the average in the total and the pore space becomes more than 50% in the gaps. The heating is conducted at higher than 40 deg.C, preferably higher than 65 deg.C and the treatment is effected under a pressure of higher than 0.1kg/cm G.
