Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To prevent the danger of causing fires and the like by interposing a heat insulating material consisting of a silica glass cloth and an Al foil between a joint and a heatproof body at the time of welding the lap joint of sheets with the heatproof body. CONSTITUTION:At the time of subjecting the joint weld zone of the lap part 3 of two sheets of sheets 1 to automatic TIG welding, a heat insulating material 17 is interposed between a heatpro of body 15 installed on the rear side of the weld zone and the joint part of two sheetsof sheets 13, 14. This material 17 consists of one sheet of silica glass cloth 10 of 0.7mm. thicknesses and one sheet of Al foil 11 of 0.1mm. thickness which are superposed within 0.8mm. thickness by means of cotten yarn 12. The silica glass cloth is constituted of high silicic acid fibers consisting of applying special treatment to glass fibers to increase their softening temp. to 1650 deg.C. The heat insulation effect of said material 17 is extremely high and decreases the danger of occurrence of fires or the like by welding.
