CROSSLINKED POLYPROPYLENE FOAM

PURPOSE:To provide a foamed article composed of a polypropylene resin and a polyethylene resin and, having high formability and excellent toughness, wherein the formability, the longitudinal tensile strength, and the longitudinal and transverse tensile elongations satisfy specific formulas. CONSTITUTION:A foamed article composed of 90-10wt%, preferably 85-50% polypropylene resin and 10-90%, preferably 15-50% polyethylene, wherein the formability H/L [H is draw depth (cm) in drawing; L is draw diameter (cm) in drawing], the longitudinal tensile strength X (kg/cm ) of the foam, the longitudinal tensile elongation Sm (%), the transverse tensile elongation St (%), and the apparent density p (g/cm ) of the foam satisfy the following formulas, H/L>= 0.60, X>=19-0.4/p, Sm>=280+4/p and St>=180+4/p.
