Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To improve corrosion resistance and magnetic characteristic, by forming a Co-Pt alloy containing the fixed rate of Co into a thin film with a thickness in a fixed range. CONSTITUTION:The magnetic recording tape is manufactured by forming a Co- Pt alloy containing Co 10-30wt% into a thin film 0.5-50mum thick. This Co-Pt alloy is obtained by the cycle of heating-hardening-cooling processings after forming the alloy into a thin film by hot rolling. Or it is also obtained by blowing molten alloy onto the surface of a roll rotating at a high speed, constituted of metal such as Cu with good thermal conductivity later to tear off from the roll.
