Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To eliminate any turning motion of a fuel strainer by attaching a position restricting strip to a fuel strainer fitting plate, thereby preventing interference of a fuel tube with a pannel of a car body or so. CONSTITUTION:A fuel strainer 1 consists of a case 10, a case cover 15, and fuel intake and discharge tubes 13, 14 which are mounted on the cover. A holder 6 consists of a fitting plate 11, a catching member 12 and a position restricting strip 17 and is attached to a pannel of a car body via the fitting plate 11, with the catching member 12 bracing the strainer 1. In fitting the strainer 1 to the holder 6, both lobes 16a of the intake tube 13 and the discharge tube 14 are brought into contact with the restricting strip 17, on account of which both tubes 13, 14 are restricted at positions parallel with the fitting plate 11. The strainer 1 may be prevented from being turned by the influence of vibration of an engine or so.
