ANTIFUNGAL PHARMACEUTICAL PREPARATION FOR EXTERNAL USE

PURPOSE:The titled pharmaceutical preparation useful for remedying athlete's foot, eczema marginatum, etc., having high safety, good feeling in use and improved remedying effect, quickly absorbable, obtained by dissolving or dispersing an antifungal main agent into an alkyl amide of fatty acid, followed by blending it with a proper base. CONSTITUTION:An antifungal main agent such as tolnaftate, clotrimazole, shekanin, etc. is dissolved or dispersed into an alkylamide of fatty acid, and blended with an emulsifying agent, suspension, stabilizer, antiseptic, dissolution auxiliary, excipient, solvent, and other base of pharmaceutical preparation. Acetamide, methyl acetamide, etc. are used as the alkylamide of fatty acid, and its amount is 0.2-30wt% based on the total amount of the pharmaceutical preparation. The amount of the antifungal main agent in the pharmaceutical preparation is usually preferably 0.1-50wt%. The titled preparation can be made into a form of cream, emulsion, lotion, solution, etc.
