NUMERIC DATA INPUTTING SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To simplify the key operation and to shorten the time required for inputting numeric registration, by making an arrangement that, for the number of a digit which is less than an assigned digit, zero is written at the same time when the number is registered. CONSTITUTION:Arithmetic data, such as numbers to be operated, operands, etc., outputted from a memory section 13 are sent to an arithmetic section 15 and prescribed operations are performed on them in accordance with arithmetic signals from a controlling section 14. Results of the operations are inputted into a register in the above-mentioned memory section 13, and judged result signals shown by the existence or nonexistence of data and carry are inputted into the above-mentioned controlling section 14. 4-bit data ''0001'' for sampling in the memory section 13 are sent to a mode switch 17. This mode switch 17 is used for assigning carry, and, when the switch 17 is set to a location ''F'', carry is not performed. When the switch 17 is set to a location ''00'', registered numeric data are carried by two digis. Moreover, a signal which indicates the set location of the mode switch 17, outputted from the above-mentioned mode switch 17 is inputted into a mode buffer 18.
