Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To trim easily a foamed item even along complicated triming outlines, by moving linear heaters spaned between upper and lower sliding members along the triming outlines to trim. CONSTITUTION:A foamed sheet is expanded and molded by pressing or the like into an item with a prescribed shape, and the object A' to be trimed with superfluous sections on both the sides of the item A is fed and placed in position on the upper surface of a guide plate 2. Then, by moving the sliding mebers 4... longitudinally of guides 1..., the two sets of sliding members 7, 7 and 7', 7' slidably inserted in guide grooves 10... and slide grooves 40... are moved along the guide grooves 10, 20. Then as the linear heaters 8, 8' spaned between the sliding members 7, 7 and 7', 7' are moved along the two triming outlines a, a' of the object A', the object A' of the foamed material is heated and cut so that triming is performed.
