Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To prevent exhaust gas, recirculating to a resting cylinder upon the partial cylinder operation of the engine, from contacting with an injection valve by a method wherein the fuel injection valve for the resting cylinder is arranged in the upstream of a fresh air intercepting valve in the ramificated manifold for the suction of the resting cylinder. CONSTITUTION:A suction air pipe 7 for supplying air to the cylinders 1-6 is ramificated at the downstream of a throttle valve 8 into two manifolds 9, 10, while the fresh air intercepting valve 41 is provided in one of the manifold 9 so as to permit the interception of the fresh air to the cylinders 1-3. A recirculating valve 16 is opened upon the resting of the cylinders 1-3 so as to permit to reduce the pumping loss of the resting cylinders by recirculating a part of the exhaust gas to the cylinders 1-3 through an exhaust gas recirculating path 15. The fuel injection valves 40A, 40B, having a flow characteristics of three times of the fuel injection amount compared with the fuel injection valves provided to respective cylinders 1-6 heretofore, are attached to the manifold 9, at the upstream side of said fresh air intercepting valve 41, and the other manifold 10. |
