VIDEO EDITING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To facilitate operation and to eliminate a disorder of a picture, by coupling a variable resistor for composition with a microswitch, and temporarily stopping the operation of a reproducing VTR and a video recording VTR by a signal from the microswitch when fade-in processing is performed. CONSTITUTION:A microswitch 14 is fitted to a sliding type variable resistor 12 for composition, and the external synchronism and internal synchronism of a reproducing VTR16 and a video camera 18 are switched automatically by a timing control signal 19 from the switch 14. To prevent a disorder of a picture which occurs easily during the synchronism switching from being recorded, a monostable multivibrator 15 is driven by the control signal 19, and the operation of a video recording VTR17 is stopped temporarily. At the same time, the operation of the reproducing VTR16 is also stopped temporarily by the control signal 19, preventing the temporary disorder of the picture.
