Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To thin a timepiece by reducing its thickness size while employing a hatchback structure for a battery by incorporating a unimorph element in a recessed part formed at part of the reverse surface of a timepiece module. CONSTITUTION:At part of the reverse side of a timepiece module 12, a nearly circular recessed part 16 is formed, and at a plane position different from the recessed part 16, batteries are equipped. Parts such as a quartz oscillator 18 and a capacitor 19 are arranged avoiding the recessed part 16 and a battery 17. The unimorph element 22 consisting of a piezoelectric element 20 and a metallic plate 21 is formed in a circular plane shape to be incorporated in the recess part 16, and the bent part 21a of a flange formed at the circumference of the element 22 is sized nearly to the internal diameter of the recessed part. Therefore, the unimorph element 22 is incorporated and locked by being hooked on a step part provided on the internal wall of the recessed part 16.
