FEED PUMP OF DISTRIBUTION TYPE FUEL INJECTOR

PURPOSE:To obtain a desired advance angle by pulling the vanes in the number less than the number of vanes of a pump in the direction of a shaft core by a pulling spring, and varying and supplied oil pressure. CONSTITUTION:An unbalanced vane pump 2 is equipped with a plurality of vanes 2c, and one 2c' of the vanes is pulled in the direction of a shaft core by the pulling spring 2e in a groove 2d'. Therefore, the vane 2c' is applied with the centrifugal force due to revolution, but the top edge of the vane 2c' does not contact to the internal wall surface of a cam ring 2b because of the pulling force of a spring 2e, until a prescribed number of revolution, for example 1,500 revolution is attained. When the centrifugal force applied to the vane 2c' exceeds the pulling force, pumping action with four leaves of vanes is started, and the oil feeding pressure Pt increases sharply. Therefore, if the starting point of compression of a timer spring is set close to the sharp increasing point of the supplied oil pressure, a desired advance angle T.A can be obtained sharply in proportion to the sharp increase of the supplied oil pressure.
