Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To omit a drain pipe from an indoor heat exchanger of an air conditioner for cooling and heating, by fixing a cooling fluid flowing pipe through a porous material plate one surface of which is a ventilating surface, and the other of which has a water absorbing insulator attached thereto to act as a non-ventilating surface. CONSTITUTION:The piping 7b for cold water is firmly fixed in the metal plate 7a of an interconnected cell porous material one surface of which has the water absorbing insulator attached thereto, so that the indoor heat exchanger 7 is constituted. In this arrangement, the indoor air 8 is sucked by a blower 9, and during its passage through the porous material metal plate 7a it is cooled and dehumidified and then it is discharged into the room. The condensed water 10 resulted from the dehumidification penetrates the interconnected cell porous plate 7a due to the capillarity, moves into the water absorbing insulator 7c, and is exposed to the ambient air to evaporate. According to this arrangement, a water receiving tray and a drain pipe can be omitted. |
