HEAT-SENSITIVE TRANSFER RECORDING PAPER

PURPOSE:To provide the titled recording paper for multicolor recording capable of easily producing an image of desired colors at a high transfer speed through a temperature control on a simple device, by a method wherein a transfer layer containing transfer capsules of three primary colors, red, blue and yellow having different melting points is provided on a major surface of a base sheet. CONSTITUTION:A transfer layer 150 containing trnsfer capsules 15b-15d of at least three primary colors, red, blue and yellow is provided on the major surface of the base sheet 15a of a transfer sheet 15, the melting points of the capsules 15b-15d of the different colors being different from each other. The transfer sheet 15 is fed to a transfer device, the color signals corresponding to the colors impressed on an input terminal 7 are fed from memory circuits 16a- 16c (in which they are once stored) to a head-driving circuit 10 through a timing control circuit 19 and a series-parallel change-over circuit 17 to operate a heating head 3, so that the capsules of the colors corresponding to the signals are melted by heating to the melting points thereof and are transferred to a paper 2 to be transferred, producing a recorded image.
