RECEIVER

PURPOSE:To immediately grasp a state of a receiving band, by automatically scanning the receiving band, and detecting and displaying the electric field intensity against each frequency. CONSTITUTION:When an operation button is pushed, a controller 10 sends a control signal to a local oscillator 8, and sets the receiving frequency to the lower limit frequency of its receiving band. After that, the oscillator 8 is controlled, the receiving frequency is raised gradually, and an electric field intensity level variation following it is level-decided 9. In this state, if there is a broadcast wave exceeding some level, the deciding device 9 sends its information to a controller 10. As a result, the controller 10 stores receiving frequency of the broadcast wave exceeding a constant level, and its electric field intensity, to a storage device 11. Said operation is repeated, and when the receiving frequency has reached the upper limit frequency, scanning ends, and a state in the receiving band is written in the device 11. Also, the contents of the device 11 can be displayed on the display device.
