DRIVING DEVICE FOR MAGNETS OF COLOR BRAUN TUBE

PURPOSE:To enable magnets for purity adjustment and convergence adjustment to be driven smoothly by providing a number of motor-driven toothed wheels so that they are connected to the toothed parts of a number of annular magnets. CONSTITUTION:At first, sipporting plates 76-78 are pressed down with hands by using an axis 86 as a supporting point so that the plates 76-78 rotate by moving parallel toward the control magnet side of a Braun color tube 1, thereby connecting idle toothed wheels 36-41 with control magnets 30-35. Next, the wheels 36-41 are fixed and positioned in the thrust direction by means of a coiled spring 44 by clamping a nut 45. After that, the purity and the convergence adjustments of the Braun color tube 1 are carried out by rotating pulse motors 59-64 by a given degree according to a command sent from a control device, and by rotating and shifting the magnets 30-35 relatively. Consequently, the magnets 30'35 are driven quite smoothly according to the rotation of the motors 59-64, and highly accurate control of the magnets 30-35 can be realized.
