FEEDER

PURPOSE:To make it possible to manipulate switching action between regular feeding, fine feeding and continuous feeding readily and quickly by a method wherein keys for regular feeding of a platen and others for feeding it in a small amount are arranged close together and continuous feeding is made possible by the simultaneous operation of the keys. CONSTITUTION:Keys 2, 3, 4, 5 for regular feeding a platen and keys 6, 7, 8, 9 for fine feeding the platen are arranged close to each other. If the regular feeding keys 2-5 are independently operated, a transversely feeding pulse motor 11 or a vertically feeding pulse motor 12 is allowed to operate by a control device to regularly feed the platen rightward and leftward, or upward and downward. If the keys 6-9 for fine feeding are independently operated, the control device 10 likewise allows the platen to be fed by a fine quantity. In addition, if a combination of keys for regular and fine feeding (2 and 6, 7 and 3, 4 and 8, or 9 and 5) are simultaneously operated, the platen is continuously moved rightward, leftward, upward, or downward.
