APPARATUS FOR MOUNTING INSULATION-TAPE ON TAPE WINDER

PURPOSE:To obtain a uniform back-tension by mounting an insulation-tape in the state stored in a cassette case and permitting the tape to be braked by means of a brake means in the case, when the insulation-tape is mounted onto a tape winder. CONSTITUTION:An insulation-tape 3 wound on a reel 2 is stored in a cassette case 1, and the brake means 4 for applying brake to the tape 3 through a spring 6 is installed at a tape drawing out port. The brake means 4 clamps the both surfaces of the tape 3 with brake shoes 5 and 5 and presses them by a compression spring 6. Therefore, a constant back-tension is always applied onto the tape 3 passing through the drawing-out port, regardless whether the relevant portion of tape 3 is the winding starting part or the ending part in relation to the reel 2. Further, as the brake shoe 5 is sealed, dustproof performance can be achieved.
