Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To prevent an engine from splashing by arranging a flange extended to the side of an engine room on the circumference of a gained part for inserting a drive shaft rotatably on a splash cover for receiving the splash from a tire. CONSTITUTION:A splash cover 10 made of synthetic resin is provided with a gained part 12 for inserting a drive shaft 4 rotatably, while on the circumference of this gained part 12, a flange 14 is extended toward the side of an engine room 13. The above-said splash cover 10 is fast fixed on the outer side of a hood ridge 3 in its upper edge 10a via bolts 15. In this construction, since splash is prevented by the flange 14 to enter into the side of an engine room, an engine unit can be prevented from rusting caused by the splash.
