Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To reduce weight of a cam shaft and simplify a process of its manufacture, by performing cold forging work of low carbon steel, forming a cam piece and journal piece, brazing the cam and journal pieces to a steel pipe shaft, and then cementing, gradually cooling and processing high-frequency quenching to the cam part and journal part. CONSTITUTION:Low carbon steel is performed cold forging work to prepare a cam piece and journal piece, and these pieces are built in to a steel pipe shaft and applied brazing to prepare a cam shaft rough shaped material. Then the cam shaft rough shaped material is performed cementation treatment by using RX gas as a cementing material. The cam shaft material is gradually cooled, and then finish abrasive work is performed to rich carbonized cam and journal parts to form necessary surface roughness and obtain a cam shaft.
