Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To enable construction of a roller apparatus with a reduced rising time without employing a special heating wire by alternative arrangement of an insulator and a heating wire on the outer surface of a roller so as to connect the heating wire to a circuit which can change the electric power to be supplied. CONSTITUTION:With the closing of a power source in a heat sensitive transfer recorder, a timer 14 starts working to allow a high voltage to a heating wire 12 from a switching circuit 15. This is done by controlling the connection with the output of a power supply circuit 16. As the time passes to allow the heating of a roller 9 with the heating wire 12 upto a temperature enough to melt ink, the timer 14 changes over the switch circuit 15 to supply a low voltage to the heating wire 12 from the power supply circuit 16 whereby the roller 9 can be maintained at a fixed temperature. When the roller 9 is brought into contact with an ink roller to feed a solid-state ink to the contact between the roller 9 and the ink roller from an ink feeder 7, the ink melts into a mass which then, attaches to the surface of the ink roller to form an ink layer thereby enabling the recording operation. |
