DEHUMIDIFYING AGENT

PURPOSE:To provide a dehumidifying agent capable of dehumidifying continuously over a long period of time, by packing a vessel, having vent holes, with granulated calcium chloride of excellent dehumidifying property, and dehumidifying by a fixed rate of quantity of the agent from the vessel. CONSTITUTION:A vessel 1 is formed with a material of synthetic resin or metal, etc., and vent holes 2 are provided to the upper surface or the to the upper side wall of the vessel. Calcium chloride is formed into granules 3, and packed in the vessle slightly less than its volume. Further, a net or porous vent cover 4 is provided to the vent holes 2 to be fitted, and a cover 5 is provided also to close the holes 2 when the vessle 1 is not used. Thus, moisture is surely removed thrugh the holes 2 only by putting the agent at a place to be dehumidified. Further, a contacting surface of the agent with air is large and dehumidifying force is increased still more, because the calcium chloride is granulated anhydride and there cause small clearances between the granules.
