METHOD OF PUTTING MATERIAL INTO BUCKET ELEVATOR

PURPOSE:To uniformly put a dispersible material into the buckets of a bucket elevator in which an endless belt or the like fitted with the buckets is revolved in a vertical long passage, by providing a leveling process between the dispersible material put-in process and an upward conveyance process. CONSTITUTION:In a bucket elevator, belt pulleys 2 are rotatably supported in the top and bottom of a casing 1 and an endless belt 3 fitted with a plurality of buckets 4 in plural rows is wound around the pulleys. An outlet port 5 is provided at the upper part of the descending section of the revolving belt 3. An inlet port 6 is provided at the lower part of the ascending section of the revolving belt. A dispersible material put-in chute 7 is provided at the face of the inlet port 6. A process for leveling a put-in dispersible material B over the width of the belt 3 by a fixed quantity feeder or the like is provided between a process for putting the material in by the delivery chute 7 and a process for conveying the material upwards by the buckets 4. The dispersible material B is thus uniformly put into the juxtaposed buckets 4.
