FREQUENCY DIVIDING RATIO OUTPUT SWITCHING CIRCUIT

PURPOSE:To switch the frequency dividing ratio according to an analog signal for output, by providing a comparator and a gate circuit, in a circuit which makes voltage-frequency-conversion of an analog signal and frequency-divides for output. CONSTITUTION:A detection circuit 1 converts physical quantity such as temperature and humidity into an analog electric signal such as voltage, and a voltage- frequency conversion circuit 2 converts the analog quantity of an output electric signal of the circuit 1 into a frequency signal. A frequency division circuit 3 frequecy-divides the output signal of the circuit 2 and generates two outputs of different frequency dividing ratio. On the other hand, a comparator 5 produces an output according to the output analog level of the the detection circuit 1 and switches gate circuits 6 and 7. That is, when the output of the comparator 5 is at an H level, the gate circuit 6 is opened, and when L level, the gate circuit 7 is opened.
